Today, we got a glimpse of karma. While the U.S. pumped $6 trillion of free money into the economy to stop a virus that didn’t stop, it turns out you can’t stop crushing earnings in fake companies with fake products and more costs than revenue. Tesla is about to fall 90% and Elon is using his superior troll game to distract buyers from that fact. What did we think would happen?
Johnson & Johnson, the mainstream media’s least favorite vaccine, was thrown under the bus for something we have all known the whole time - in rare cases, it causes serious and fatal blood clots … preventing a disease that predictably impacts aged, obese and the co-morbid. Turns out we cut some corners. It turns out trade offs are a thing. What did we think would happen?
Natural gas hit $8.50/mcf. Oil is almost $110. The world supply-demand is so tight that the only resolution is to lift Russian sanctions. If we don’t, many products we need (and want) to live won’t be made (too expensive) and can’t be transported (too expensive). On top of a massive food crisis, upcoming recession and increases in unemployment as people who were day trading to replace their income re-enter the work force, there is a lot of pain coming. Should have come in 2020, but the can just landed. What did we think would happen?
On the bright side, I had a really great visit with my sister and we rebuilt much of the relationship that had suffered due to COVID. So net net, it’s been a good week.
You already know what happens to people who say things that don't match the "narrative", but at least SubStack hasn't started bans. It was great to hear that you were able to reconnect with your sister. Looking forward to seeing my relatives again (sadly for a funeral) post plague. We lost my niece in 2020 and didn't get a chance to truly mourn her. When what used to be called the Silent Majority who are sick and tired of all these attempts to divert us from the disaster that the COVID money dump has caused to the American middle class and the American Dream for their kids decide to ignore the attempts to watch the culture/gender birdie and focus on the real problems it's gonna be crazy. Poverty has a way of focusing people on something besides differences.
Well, we are still learning of the long term effects of getting the virus. like a 20% increased in ED. https://www.yahoo.com/news/covid-lead-impotence-120216364.html
