We are reaching a fevered pitch
And the next 10 days will be the worst in the pandemic. But they shouldn’t be.
I wouldn’t normally have sent this post out, but for the second time in a week, LinkedIn has proven that the algorithm will not allow dissent to the narrative. My first video was labeled as “misinformation” which as you can see is absolutely not. And yesterday, the post below fell into “scam or spam.” Really? That’s a stretch, but you be the judge. You may tire of me talking about censorship but you can no longer say “But the news said…” The news and social media actively limits the other side of the narrative and it’s essential in 2022 that everyone does their own data analysis and research. Not to preach, but I’m preaching.

I think it’s fair to say we will have the highest number of COVID cases ever next week. With people testing to return to school, to work, and because it’s the “in” thing to do, it’s safe to say we will have over 2 million cases reported. But think about that and what it actually means.
It means that less than 1 in 100 people are positive. And, if you say “but we know there are lots of cases that don’t get reported…” I say, then why haven’t we statistically adjusted the cumulative cases to date up to reflect that reality. You can’t have it both ways? Trust the data as is. All of it. Or reject it all. Too often, there are “yeah, buts….” It shouldn’t work that way.
If you are asymptomatic, are you personally at risk?
If you have mild symptoms, like a hangover or a mild normal cough, are you really going to change your behavior?
If you are triple vaxxed and the data shows you are extremely unlikely to get hospitalized, why do you care?
The cumulative running clock since 2020 is ridiculous. The testing for something that is so pervasive and with which you can do very little is equally so.
We can be out of this the second we stop testing and just allow people to live their lives. Or…. We can keep the do loop of mistakes going.
Personally, I shall continue doing what I’ve been doing. No precautions. No testing. No jabs. It’s worked out pretty well so far.

The longer we pander to the narrative..the dumber we get.
It’s time to let the Covid craziness go
