At this point, I’m having fun with it
I’m playing “What will LinkedIn Censor?” and we have another winner
I have been reading “The Real Anthony Fauci” by Robert Kennedy Jr, with thanks to Scott Hines for mailing it to me. Maybe I’m one of the few, but I love real books with real pages I can turn. I spend so much time on my phone screen, books just feel really good.
I’m not going to lie, the book is terrifying, which even for me who has questioned the CDC, the FDA, the trial data, the media, the narrative and the case, hospitalization and death numbers since the beginning, is saying a lot. I can only read about 5 pages at a time because it makes me deeply uncomfortable, like trying to binge watch Mad Men or Breaking Bad, but with the darkness of The Handmaid Tale or George Orwell’s 1984. You see, I thought the people at the CDC were just stupid, career bureaucrats that couldn’t make it in private sector and the FDA was staffed with sycophants waiting to get hired by the companies they were supposed to regulate like the Purdue Pharma case or Dr Scott Gottlieb. It was just about profit and control and winning an election but at the core, they had public health as the number one interest. Greed? Sure. But we are all greedy and selfish at the core, they are just slightly more horrible people than the rest of us. (That’s a joke… kind of).
The book makes me feel angry. And sad. And somehow like the worst I imagined of people wasn’t creative enough. So, it’s worth a read… and so is this article, penned by the same author, in response to Jake Tepper who is trying to make the book out to be a big conspiracy that no one should read.
I want to reiterate- I am 100% ‘you do you’ Get vaccinated. Or don’t. Do drugs and get a little crazy in the club. Don’t wear a helmet while biking, even. We all know the risks, rewards and are responsible to make our own decisions. All we can do is educate ourselves and assess the risk reward. Mainstream media is not education, it is propaganda. You should be extra sure to read stuff that they don’t want you to see.
I can’t read it as it’ll cause my blood pressure to go into crisis mode. I look forward to your updates on this work of fiction.
I allow myself to get very angry at the stupidity of politicians, bureaucrats, and community activists but I’m gonna get the book and read it anyway. Damn the ulcers. I appreciate your voice of reason.
